Dancers will learn the basics of ballet and tap

These are our beginner-level classes for dancers to learn and grow their skills in ballet, tap, hip hop, lyrical, and jazz.

These are our intermediate-level classes for dancers who have passed the beginner-level Encounter Classes at Studio 815 in ballet, tap, hip hop, lyrical, and jazz.

​These are our advanced-level classes for dancers who have mastered our Encounter and Edge classes at Studio 815 in ballet, tap, hip hop, lyrical, and jazz.

Meet the Team

Our team is made up of talented, passionate, and dedicated instructors who love helping every student grow, gain confidence, and discover their potential. Each member brings unique experience and expertise, ensuring a fun, safe, and inspiring environment for all of our athletes.

Dance Instructor
Brianne S
​Brianne is originally from a suburb of Chicago, IL where she had been teaching dance for over 25 years. She started out her dance career by taking ballet at the age of three. Throughout her dancing years she took ballet, tap, jazz, modern, character, pointe, and Pilates. Brianne was in various local companies in the Chicago land area and took at a variety of studios some of which include: Midwest Ballet Academy, Salt Creek Ballet, and Champaign-Urbana Ballet. Although her degree is in Psychology from the University of Illinois, she took various classes in dance and performance opportunities whenever she could. Brianne also has her certification with Rhythm Works Integrative Dance, Acrobatics Arts, Acrobatic Arts Preschool, Tap Roots, PBT, Yoga, and Pilates. She has been also coached with Special Olympics and Young Athletes. She loves to pass on her knowledge and watch her students learn as they master new steps and grow into young dancers themselves.

Sofie H
Sofie is excited to join the GymQuest and Studio 815 team for her first year as an instructor. With a strong background in dance, she brings a love for movement and performance to every class. Sofie will be teaching Hip Hop, Jazz, and Acro, and is dedicated to helping students build new skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for dance.

Ve'Lari D
Ve’Lari is a passionate and experienced dance educator who brings energy, skill, and heart to every class. Specializing in Hip Hop and Acro, she also has a strong background in gymnastics and cheerleading, and is 305 certified. Ve’Lari’s love for dance began early, training at Mary Ann Corcoran Dance Studio and Generation Dance from 1993–2004, and she continued her journey dancing at Aurora University and Purdue University Northwest. A former studio owner, she combines years of professional experience with a genuine passion for helping kids grow both on and off the dance floor. Since joining GymQuest in 2021, Ve’Lari has dedicated herself to helping students gain new skills, build confidence, and discover their full potential, with a special focus on supporting athletes from lower-income backgrounds and creating opportunities for every child to shine.
