Combo Dance Classes
Combo classes range from 45min-1hour for ages 3-7y. This class is perfect for students wanting to get their bodies moving and feet making noise. Children will learn repetitive dance movements at the barre and away. Dance terminology will be introduced and explained as students develop an understanding of body and spatial awareness. Ballet, Jazz and Tap offers a new style to our young students to explore emotions through movement. Come play and explore with hoops, scarves, ribbons, and more.
Twirl & Tumble
Twirl and Tumble is a 45 minute dance class that introduces the Pre-School and Pre-K student to the basics of ballet and tumbling. Dancers will increase mobility and coordination, enhance body awareness, strengthen musicality and learn foundational ballet and tumbling terminology. Explore new movement, develop flexibility and increase strength to enhance your dance skills.
Mini Hip Hop
Mini Hip Hop dance is a 45 min. class of high-energy and fun for 3-5 year old students wanting to learn the basics of Hip Hop Dance and music. Students are introduced to isolations and stylized movements and learn to incorporate Hip Hop terminology. Dancers will enhance coordination, body/spatial awareness, endurance, flexibility and strengthen their musicality and rhythm.
Jr. Hip Hop
Junior Hip Hop dance class is a high-energy, jam packed 60 mins. of fun for children 6-7 years old, wanting to learn the basics of Hip Hop Dance and music. Students are introduced to isolations and stylized movements, and learn to incorporate tumbling skills, floor work and Hip Hop terminology. Choreography is inspired by a fusion of styles such as Afro-Cuban, Jazz, Contemporary, Breakdancing and Urban Street. Dancers will enhance coordination, body/spatial awareness, endurance, flexibility and strengthen their musicality and rhythm.
Tricks Turns & Leaps
Want to improve your technique for higher jumps, strengthen your body for better balance and enhance your dance performance with unique tricks? Then this is the dance class for you! This class is designed specifically for the serious dancer who wishes to perfect and refine their dance skills by focusing on exercises for turning, jumping, and leaping. The class is taught with a strong emphasis on technique, correct body placement and muscle memory.
Prior dance experience in ballet and jazz is recommended.
Ages 7-11
Industry Jazz fuses together different styles of dance such as Ballet, Ballroom Dance, Hip Hop, Musical Theater and Breakdancing! Let’s escape into the world of interpretive dance! This Contemporary Dance class is geared towards ages 9-12yrs. Dancers will learn to blend various dance styles together to create expressive movement. Students will enjoy a warm-up; gentle yoga stretches and learn core foundations of contemporary dance.
Ages 12+
In Contemporary Dance, dancers will learn to blend various dance styles together to create expressive movement. Students will enjoy a warm-up; gentle yoga stretches and learn core foundations of contemporary dance. Industry Jazz is a style of Jazz dance is entertainment-driven and seen on television commercials, movies and music videos. In Hip Hop Dance, students will learn choreography that combines styles of dance such as Breakdancing, Urban Street, Afro-Cuban, Jazz and Contemporary dance styles.
ADULT RESTORATIVE YOGA
Join our newly offered Restorative Yoga class at DanceQuest. Restorative Yoga will gently guide you into your connective tissue (ligaments, tendons, fascia, joints) in a manner which is inaccessible through traditional stretching.
Wear layers and bring a yoga mat and water. Props will be provided (limited supply), or bring your own yoga blanket and yoga blocks. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels, ages 14 and up, and can be adapted to meet individual goals and needs. All poses will be on your yoga mat sitting, laying on your back or laying on your belly.
ADULT SLOW FLOW YOGA
Join our newly offered Slow Flow Yoga class at DanceQuest. Slow Flow Yoga is low-impact yoga that will gently guide you through a variety of poses. Think of the rhythm of yoga without the intensity or rush! The flowing poses will allow your body to release stiffness and stress, increase your overall flexibility, and improve your muscular strength.

This style of gentle yoga facilitates breathwork, flexibility, balance, strength and being present in body and mind. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels, no prior experience in yoga needed. This class is for adults and can be adapted to meet individual goals and needs.
