Kylie is trained in both classical and street styles of dance from a very young age, specializing in Contemporary, Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, various styles of Hip Hop, and Acro. She grew up in a competition dance setting as part of the nationally recognized Steps Dance Center Company where she was mentored by pillars in the Chicago dance community and received additional training from professionals across the country from New York to Los Angeles including, but not limited to, Joffrey Ballet, Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Visceral Dance Chicago, Monsters of Hip Hop, Entity Contemporary Dance, Millennium Dance Complex, and Broadway Veterans. Her performance resume includes Prelude Urban Dance, Walt Disney World’s Parade and “Dance the Magic '', Disney Springs Main Stage, and many local showcases in and around the Chicagoland area. Currently she is working to pursue a dance degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison along with a degree in Kinesiology. Kylie is very excited to be an instructor at DanceQuest and convey a knowledge of both dance technique, vocabulary and history/culture with her students. She absolutely adores the artistry and freedom that dance allows and cannot wait to share that joy with everyone in class!
