My Story

Ms. Nicole has been dancing, teaching, choreographing, and training for over thirty years. Her journey began as a child at her community studio where she found her passion for movement, music, and dance. Inspired by her teachers and hungry for more she took every opportunity to learn and create. After High School she spent the summer studying Vaganova Ballet Technique, Pointe, and Russian Character dance with Asaff Messerer and Yuri Chatal. Throughout College she studied with Master teachers at Arve School of Dance, Joel Hall Dance Center, and Lou Conte Dance Studio. During this time, she also began her training in Dance Masters of America’s Teacher Training School. She attended the program for over nine years and completed both undergraduate and graduate studies with Master teachers David Howard, E Laura Hausmann, Bob Rizzo, Tom Ralabate, Judy Ann Bassing, Beverly Fletcher and many more. She has received her teacher certification through Dance Masters of America and holds a Bachelor’s
Degree in Business Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Ms. Nicole has instructed and choreographed for several studios and local community groups in the south suburbs of Chicago. She was the Artistic Director of her own studio and performance company for many years. After starting a family and relocating, she continues to train, teach, and choreograph. She is one of the founding directors of AMPD Camp, a summer Worship Arts Experience, and she is also certified in Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Technique. In her spare time Ms. Nicole continues to train with master teachers around the country, she sings in the praise band at church, and enjoys to craft and create. She loves camping, coffee, and all things caramel, and has a weakness for rescuing beagles.
